2025 Junior J-Hawk Cheer Clinic

Here we go for another amazing clinic and performance by the Jesup J-Hawk mini cheerleaders!  This clinic is sponsored by the Jesup High School Cheerleaders.  The cost for each person will be $25 and this includes a t-shirt if online registration is filled out and paid by the due date of Wednesday, January 19th at Midnight.  If you have any questions, please contact Coach Sarah Nolan at snolan@jesup.k12.ia.us

The Clinic Practice is planned for Monday, February 9th from 3:15 – 4:30 pm, for grades PreSchool, PreK, TK & Kindergarten. Students at Jesup Elementary will be dropped off in Mrs. Nolan’s kindergarten classroom and from there you will be taken to the JAC for practice by the cheerleaders.  Pick-up will be at the JAC back by the business office. 

There should be no jewelry worn, and hair should be up in a ponytail if long enough.  Participants need to bring a snack and a water bottle to practice.

Participants will learn a few cheers, jumps, and stunts. 

They will perform at the halftime of the Varsity Boys Basketball Game on Tuesday, February 10th, 2025.  The game starts at 7:45 pm, and participants will need to be there at 7:50.  The mini cheerleaders will stay with their parents until there is a call for them to meet by the south doors of the South Gym.  Participants will be admitted free to the game and will need to sit with their parent/guardian until called out to meet with the Cheerleaders to perform.  Mini cheerleaders will need to wear leggings, cheer clinic shirts, with hair up in a ponytail or pigtails.
